This third shift position is located at the Arconic Research Center in Whitehall, MI. Schedule will be on third shift.
As a Jr. Lab Technician in the Chemistry Testing Lab, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of chemistry samples
Perform chemistry testing on alloy samples
Other duties, as assigned
Minimum Years of Experience:
1+ years of lab experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
Associate degree in a technical discipline
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
Strong organizational skills
Minimum Education Required:
High School or GED
Minimum Travel Required:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of two years continuous work history, post high school
Successfully meet the standardized TABE testing requirements. If applicant possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
