The Cyber Architect (Communication/Computer Systems Operator) candidate should be able to complete or have knowledge of the following skills sets: Apply broad base of knowledge and competency in core computer hardware and operating system technologies, including skills such as installing, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing, and preventive maintenance with additional elements of information assurance, soft skills, and security. The candidate has attended networking training, including usage of MAC addresses, LAN hubs, switches, routers, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, wireless network access point planning and maintenance, as well as troubleshooting Ethernet connectivity problems. This position involves flying as an aircrew member.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support end users providing troubleshooting and issue resolution assistance in a helpful and responsive manner.
Configure Cisco Call Manager, Cisco ASA firewall, VRF Routers and GRE multipoint DMVPN tunnels.
Configure Promina, Load Cryptographic keying material (TACLANES and KIV-7M's).
Responsible for equipment including but not limited to CITRIX Wanscalers, BlueCoat Proxy servers, and MRV terminal servers.
Provide technical support for Satellite Communications/Tactical Control Facilities (SATCOM/TCF), including operating and maintaining Teleport SATCOM C-Band and Ku-Band earth terminals, Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Extremely High Frequency (EHF) terminals, and Ka-band terminals.
Maintain system integrity to ensure the availability of information resources, assets, and processes required to achieve Department of Defense information-sharing objectives.
May be required to support operational or sustainment tasks unrelated to the above job description.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Aviation related field and 9 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of a wide range of telecommunications and computer security techniques, requirements, methods, sources, and procedures for the following programs: Computer Security (COMPUSEC), Network Security, Communications Security (COMSEC), Electronic Key Management System (AFEKMS), Emissions Security (EMSEC), STU III, FORTEZZA Security, and Security Awareness Training and Education (SATE).
Install and set up networks involving the installation of routers and hubs, wireless adaptors, and cables, as well as software and network drivers.
Have working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, Trunking, Route Redistribution, QOS, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VLSM, STP, SSH, and Multicast.
TS clearance based on a single scope background investigation (SSBI) or periodic reinvestigation (PR) completed within the previous five years.
Personnel Security Polygraph (PSP) examination - (Counterintelligence (CI) focused) within the previous five years.
Be able to receive Secret Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance.
Required to maintain a FAA Second Class medical certificate.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
CCENT, Security , A , Networking, Active Directory, Remedy, Customer Service, Cisco, VOIP, Firewall, Solarwinds Orion, SNMP, VPN, Crypto, routers, and switches.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
