We are currently seeking a skilled individual with a proven track record of success to join our Engineering Services team as a Sr. Project Manager.
Develop project execution plans, execute on the plan, and deliver projects safely, on-time, and on-budget.
Lead and direct projects while collaborating with internal and external project stakeholders under the guidance of Williams’s core values and beliefs.
Develop and implement definitive Project Life Cycle project plans which include cost estimates, project schedules, risk registers, permit tables, contract strategies, engineering packages, construction strategies, quality assurance, commissioning, and project closure to complete projects safely, on-time, on-budget with satisfactory quality.
Demonstrate consistent ability to lead functional departments in a matrix organization, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Lead, direct, and influence internal project stakeholders to produce project deliverables on time and on budget while achieving the project objectives all without formal authority.
Manage external 3rd parties such and consultants, engineering companies, vendors, and contractors to achieve the project objectives
Collaborate with and influence multiple internal project stakeholders and functional departments such as public outreach, government affairs, commercial, business development, procurement, legal, engineering, GIS, drafting, pipeline integrity, gas control, operations, project development, etc.
Ensure all work is planned and performed in strict accordance with Williams’s policies and procedures (WIMS, PSM, Project Life Cycle, Contractor On-Shore Safety Manual, Integrity Management Plans, and other processes).
Implement and comply with the regulatory requirements around Process Safety Management such as MOCR’s, Facility Siting, PHA’s, PSSR’s, commissioning plans, and safe gas handling plans.
Identify opportunities to improve the project execution work flow processes to deliver our best solutions.
Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
A Bachelor’s degree.
8+ years of experience in natural gas pipeline capital project execution management or project engineering.
Experience planning and executing capital onshore natural gas pipeline, compressor station, and/or meter station facility projects or other oil and gas projects.
Experience developing project execution plans to include the supporting budget, schedule, risk register, permit tables, procurement strategies, contracting strategies, and cost controls.
Advanced understanding of industry project management practices.
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
A MS degree in Engineering, project management or business.
Possess a current Professional Engineering license
Possess or seeking to obtain a PMI Project Management Professional certification (PMP).
Experience generating detail engineering design work products of regulated and un-regulated pipelines and facilitates
Project execution knowledge and experience to include land acquisition, FERC and federal permitting, state permitting, engineering design, procurement, project controls, PSM, construction management and commissioning.
